Ranches and Farmlands for Sale

When we talk about investment, we talk about future. Something that will give great effect in the future of us and our family. My husband and I both wanted to live a happy peaceful life in a country someday. We both wanted to retire here; that is why we still think of buying maybe a piece of land somewhere where we could do the stuffs we love to do like doing outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, gardening and etc...Aside from investment here, I also want to invest in the Philippines where I grew up. We want to buy a piece of land there, too and build a vacation house where we could stay every time we go visit my parents and siblings. Anyway, every once in a while, I search on the internet and finally found this website that offer pieces of Land for sale, ranches for sale and even Fishing properties for sale. I like the idea of having property where you can fish since my husband likes to fish and I like seafoods and fish. If you are like us, who want to live in country and live a distinct country lifestyle, you might want to check this website. Who knows, the dream ranch, fishing property or just a land might be listed on this website.

The Biker and the Bridge

This was forwarded to us by a friend from Texas, Tracy and Chuck, thanks, guys :-)!

A man was riding his Harley along a
California beach when suddenly the sky
clouded above his head...In a booming voice, the Lord said, "Because you
have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish."

The biker pulled over and said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride
over anytime I want."

The Lord said, "Your request is materialistic. Think of the enormous
challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required to reach to
bottom of the Pacific and the concrete and steel it would take! It will
nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is hard for me
to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time, and
think of something that could possibly help mankind."

The biker thought about it for
a long time.

Finally, he said, "Lord, I wish that I, and all men, could understand our
wives; I want to know how she feels inside, what she's thinking when she
gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says
nothing's wrong, and how I can make my woman truly HAPPY."
And the Lord replied......

"You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"

Acne And Anti-Aging Skin Care

Whether we like it or not, all of us will get wrinkles as we get older. It is a reality each of us should have to face. We cannot go old and still look and feel young especially when it comes to our physical appearance particularly our skin. Young adults or teenagers mostly suffer from acne or skin blemish. Luckily, I was one of those lucky teenagers who didn't get problems with skin during my teen years. I am now married with kids and is not getting any younger; I don't have signs of wrinkles, but surely later, they will start to be visible. It would be nice to still have nice and healthy, younger looking skin. And as I mentioned earlier, we cannot avoid wrinkles, but we can slow the effect of aging through the skin care products from DrSkinSpa.com. These skin care products can help us with all our skin problems, from acne/blemish, wrinkles and aging effect. Child's Headstart to Music

Music is one way we learn to express our feelings and emotions; it is also in music where our children learn about everything around them. Through singing, dancing and pretend playing, they learn to develop fine motor and skills. I love music and singing, in fact I was once a choir member at church where I belong. And so when I get pregnant, I started singing to my son and I think he liked it because sings and dance a lot now. Anyway, if you want your child life transforms with the gifts of music, and learn everything from fine motor skills to pre-reading skills why not enroll her or him to child music education. Your child will be taught in the comfort of your own home by you; you will be trained online and get help and support of an experienced music mentor. Doing this thing is a big help as you help and prepare your child for preschool; not only that, you are helping her or him cultivate her/his lifelong of music. Here they will learn music from baby music classes to child music class. I really like these classes for each child age groups like the Village for newborn to 18 months, Sing and Sing for 6 months to 3 years, Our Time 18 months to 3 years, Imagine That for 3-5 year old, Young Child 5-7 year old, Adventures Camps newborn to 7 years and the ABC class for 2-6 years old. Since it is almost summertime, why not have them spend time attending these classes. By doing so, they will reap the benfits of music such as music and literacy, and music and math. So, what are you waiting for? Visit the link provided here for more information.

My Dark Eye Circles Story

About a month ago, I went to Philippines to attend my grandmother's funeral for two weeks. While there, during her wake, I committed myself to stay up at night, then sleep in the morning for at least 6 hours. And that is what I did for ten days. The results, I didn't really get the desire sleep I expected. I suffer from having bad dark circles or puffy bags under my eyes. It didn't look well at all. The only solution I thought of was to wear sunglass to hide it. Having puffy bags under eyes is really a big deal for women. And wearing sunglass is not really a solution. We need something that will eventually remove dark circles around our eyes. So, I decided to go online and search for eye crèam that will help me with this problem. I know it is there somewhere I just need to find it. Good thing I was patient enough to search for it or else I wouldn't be able to find www.eyecreamreview.net, a website that is really helpful in finding the best eye cream for dark circles and bags, wrinkles or just improve the look of our eye area. This eye cream reviews website does a lot of reviewing with different kinds of products available to treat eye wrinkles, dark circles, and puffy bags. Below are the lists of the eye creams they have already reviewed: Dermajuv Eye Revolution Gel, Murad Lighten and Brighten, Dernamuv Complete System, Neova Eye Therapy, Dermalogica Intensive Eye Repair, Relastin Eye Silk, and more. But the best and #1 is the Dermajuv Eye Revolution gel which is in superior quality. It is much lighter and more accurate when applied in the fine areas of the eyes. It also has more key ingredients and the price is very affordable. If you want to learn more about this incredible product visit their website now!

Mega-Catch is a Must!

The warm weather is here already and that means it is summertime. I like this season because I came from a country where the weather is warm, and I don't mind the heat when I work in the garden or just play with my family with water under the sun. It would be nice to play outside and have the fun without worrying about mosquitoes biting us. They are just there waiting for us. They will feast with our blood and nobody like that. That is always the case wherever we go.
Mozzies
Good thing that there is a Mega-Catch, a mosquito trap that is safe and environmentally friendly, not to mention that it is cost effective than profane-based mosquito traps. I like it because it is also easy to use, and how mosquito can be attracted even at a distance of 150 feet. The Mega-Catch ULTRA Mosquito Trap has three models such as the ALPHA, PREMIER, and ULTRA. I think this thing should be a must in every home to protect us from viruses or even parasites which both are dangerous to our health. If only my cousin has mega-Catch in their home, their daughter should have never died from dengue. I am still saddened for my niece's sudden death three days ago. Having Mega-Catch in our home doesn't mean we can stop using insect repellent, or taking care of our lawn. We still need to continue doing that. Anyway, if you want to learn more on How Mega-Catch traps work, visit them at Mega Catch.com.

Spectacular Summer Vacation in Branson!

After our spring family vacation at the beach, it would be nice to have our summer vacation at the place like Branson, Missouri. I never been to this place but have heard a lot of nice things to do and see from friends who actually live there, not to mention those I have read while searching the net. Going there would be a perfect vacation for us. The whole place itself is great adventure to enjoy and have the fun as a family. I would really love to go see the Silver Dollar City where they will hold the National Kite's Festival this summer; I am pretty sure that my son would get a kick on that. My husband and I will really enjoy the 10th Annual Clown jam. What better place to stay than Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel after a long day at theme parks. Both of these hotels by the way, are located at the busy entertainment capital of the Midwest in Branson, Missouri that offer guests access to shops, boutiques, restaurants, a river walk and other attractions. I have posted a picture this before food before, and some of you, guys probably remember it. Anyway, just posting it again, but this time with the recipe requested by Hazel of My Comfort Zone. Here it is, Dear :-)!

First of all, I don't do measurements with my ingredients' I just "eyeball" as what Rachael Ray said.

Ingredients: Chicken Gizzards, garlic powder, butter, a little bit of oyster sauce, and Barbeque sauce.

Procedures: Boil gizzard till it is tender. Drain when it is already cooked or tender. Put the gizzard back on the same pot or pan. Put the pot with gizzard on the stove top, then put a little bit of butter, sprinkle with garlic powder and stir. Put sauces on top of it and mix till the gizzard is all coated. That's it! Enjoy!

Perfect Gifts for Men in My Life

After celebrating Mother's Day few days ago, next month will be Father's Day celebration. I don't know what gifts should I give my husband, and father on this very important occasion in their lives. My husband likes sweet, so chocolates would be a treat for him; but since he is a diabetic, chocolates and candies wouldn't be a good idea. Then I remembered my father's dream to own an automatic watch. My husband wishes he could have one also. Good thing, I I've found websites that sell seiko watches, and one of them is Blue Dial.com that offers watch for very affordable price! I cannot believe it! Anyway, I really like the design and style I chose for my father which is Seiko SNK032K Men's Gold Tone Seiko 5 Automatic Black Dial; seiko watches are durable, trustworthy, simple and clean. I am sure they will like it. Shipping and sizing are free. So, if you are looking for a great gift this father's day, go to bluedial.com and find the gift everyone cannot resists.

Cat5 USB Extender

My brother has an internet cafe business. He has a least ten computers, a couple of printers, a scanner not to mention USB camera, and a fax machine. The shop is not that big and sometimes gets crowded with all the customers using the computers. He mention with me one time that it would be nice if I can buy him an extender, particularly, USB extender, that way, no need for him to run long bulky coax cable. I told him I will try to find one as soon as I get back home. And that is what I did, luckily I have found a website called SmartVM.com, here they carry different kind of extenders such as Cat5 USB extender, which by the way allows you to extend from 1 to 4 USB peripheral devices up to 150 feet via Cat5 / Cat5e / Cat6 UTP cable. Dinner at Greek Restaurant

We love Greek foods because they are not only healthy, but also very yummy! Here we have ordered a combo which Matt and I shared, and Jake has Spaghetti with Marinara sauce. The Greek salad is one of my fave. I wished I remember what's on the combo so I can look them up on the internet, and maybe I can try making them myself. Oh, by the way, the price is not bad at all.

Since, Baklava is a very sweet dessert, we decided to have ice cream cone at Dairy Queen; Matt and I shared a cone while Jake ate one just by himself.

No Chinese Food for Me!

I don't know why but lately, I have been trying telling my husband that I don't like Chinese foods. Weird, huh! Yup, just the thought of it makes me sick! I used to like it a lot, but now I feel like I cannot stand it anymore. I would rather go eat at Asian Restaurants like Vietnamese, Thai, Malay and Indian. I also love Greek and Mediterranean foods. I so love sea foods and steaks. Anyway, I wonder if this happened to you, too! I don't know...maybe I will like it again, who knows?

Know Yourself First...! Zumrad Murian

Zumrad Murian, whoever you are please show your link in here when you leave a comment on my post: "Six unimportant things". Be brave and uncover yourself. With all the comments you left here, am sorry but I have to erase them. And please, do not criticize me with what my family and I do because you don't know us at all! Just like you, we also go to church and have weaknesses (which everyone do), don't you? If you think you don't, then, good for you! Yes, we know our church obligations and make sure that we fulfill them including missionary funds; is that what you want to know? I really do not want to write this here, but you provoked me. And before you say something, you need to look at yourself first before criticizing other. "The more you know yourself, the less you criticize other." You keep that in your mind, too! Besides, there are lots of better things to do besides criticizing and wasting your time worrying about me and my post. May God enlightens your mind.

Fish Stew Soup

When we ate at a sea food restaurant in Outer banks, NC, Jacob loves the fish stew I ordered for him; and so I decided to look for a recipe so I can make it for him next time. So here it is...you guys can copy the recipe if you want.

Plus, this is a very healthy food for your kids who love soup and fish.

  • 2 large garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2/3 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 2 tsp of tomato paste.
  • 8 oz of clam juice (or shellfish stock)
  • 2/3 cup dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 lb fish fillets (use halibut, cod, sole, red snapper, sea bass), cut into 2-inch pieces
  • Touch of dry oregano, Tabasco, thyme, pepper
  • Salt
Method:

1 Heat olive oil in heavy large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and garlic and sauté 4 minutes. Add parsley and stir 2 minutes. Add tomato, tomato paste and cook 2 minutes longer.

2 Add clam juice, dry white wine, and fish and simmer until fish is cooked through, less than 10 minutes. Add seasoning. Salt to taste. Ladle into bowls and serve.Serves 4.

Grilled Bluefish

Bluefish is an overlooked and under appreciated fish. Its dark brown flesh does not look appetizing while raw. But when grilled, this fatty fish turns into a culinary wonder. Its flesh is succulent and juicy and grilling gives it a slightly smoky flavor.

Ingredients:
Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon
3 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

1 Tbsp chopped dill
1 Tbsp chopped cilantro (or parsley)
2 Lb bluefish fillet

Method:
*Mix all the ingredients on the left except for fish in a glass or plastic container that can hold the fish in one layer. *Cut the fish into 4 serving pieces and add them to marinade skin side up.
*Let stand at room temperature 10-20 minutes.
*Preheat the grill to high.
*Right before putting the fish on the grill brush grill with oil.
*Grill bluefish on the flesh side for 4 minutes.
*Turn the fish onto its skin, baste with marinade and grill for another 4 minutes for 1" thick fillets. (The cooking time will vary based on the thickness and width of the fish pieces.)
*Top each piece with a teaspoon of garlic herb butter and serve.

Loves Camping and RV?

My in-laws love outdoors and camping. And that is why they owe a Recreational Vehicle (RV). My husband told me all the fun memories he and his siblings have when they were little riding their old RV going on vacations and campings My in-laws have replaced their RV for four times now. Anyway, during one of our family reunion, we ran out of place to stay, so they decided to put us into their motorhome which we really enjoyed. And we have saved the money intended to pay for the hotel. Having a motorhome, camper, and trailer is very convenient because it can accommodate more than two people or a family, should I say. The very first time I laid my eyes on my in-laws RV, I was amazed with all the features it has. RV Motorhomes have kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, dining room, small appliances and even washer and dryer and even dishwasher! Unbelievable! Anyway, every time they go see us, they always look for an RV accessories and parts. Good thing my husband found Camping World.com. Now my in-laws can order items they need online without living home. Camping World also carry products for hunting, camping and all outdoor activities accessories like outdoor grills, chairs and tables, RV screen and shades and many more. Visit their website now for all your camping needs. And since my family loves outdoors, owning one someday would be great!
