Mommy Moments - Tantrums Tantrums

It's Mommy Moments once again, and here is my entry for this weeks' theme: "Tantrums, Tantrums."

mommy moments

Even though Jake is already five year old, every once in awhile he still have his moods especially after school. I guess because he is tired already. But aside from that, he is a happy little guy who loves to draw and read books and going to school. Here some of the photo taken when he was throwing a fit!

He didn't want to be bothered while watching T.V.

Afraid with Santa, I don't know why?

All of a sudden he didn't want to go trick or treating here that is why he wasn't facing the door.

This was taken back in VA after school; as you can see he wasn't in the mood, but still manage to show me the badge that shows that he belongs to Mrs. Young's class.

Cryo - C'elle And The Breast Cancer!

I have known many women who are suffering from breast cancer, in fact one of them was my 3rd grade teacher whom both breasts were taken out of her body to keep the cancer from invading her whole body and eventually would have killed her. Thank goodness she is still alive. Modern technology has gone a long way when it comes to treating life threatening diseases like breast cancer. Women with this disease doesn't have to go through the same treatment like my teacher did; and that is because of menstrual blood or menstrual stem cells. This month (October) is a Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let us show our support at the C'Elle Breasts Cancer Donation ; let us think pink! Stem cells from menstrual blood are proven to be a rich source of stem cells. In fact, they are the subject of extensive, aggressive stem cell research and development, and industry experts anticipate that C’elle stem cells will be the next great frontier for diagnostic and regenerative medicine as well. Research shows that menstrual stem cells have also the potential to treat diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. Cryo-Cell International, Inc is partnering with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to explore the potential utilization of menstrual stem cells to treat breast cancer. The partnership is underway to better understand the C’elle stem cells and their potential benefit for the treatment of breast cancer. Do you know that you support Cyro-Cell Breast Cancer Donation by purchasing “Protect Baby, Protect Mom” service, where $50 goes to the Susan B. Komen Foundation; while another $25 for each purchase of the “C’elle Menstrual Stem Cell” service. So, ladies, let us support the campaign of Breast Cancer Awareness month and let us think pink!

At Last My Craving is Satisfied! Thanks, Hon :-)

For whatever reason, since last night I was craving for this Mexican soup called "Posole". So, last night I asked Matt if it is okay to have our lunch at Mexican resto. He agreed, and so I had this dish. Have you heard about Menudo, Mexican style? This is very similar to Posole, only instead of "pork" they put "tripe" in it. Pinoy style Menudo is way different from what Mexican has. You should try it, it is yummy and a little bit spicy.

By the way, the soup I have posted from my previous Food Trip Friday is a Vietnamese soup called Pho; I think you guys should try that, too for it is very yummy as well. You can choose from meatballs, beef, chicken or combination of the three. Since we Pinoys love soup, I am pretty sure you guys will love it, too!

Just Wondering...

I was wondering why the PR for this blog has gone down from PR1 to "0". When I checked it on PR checker, the PR1 still there. What is going on? On my PPP account it is "0". Which one of them is wrong or have not updated the PR yet? I am not complaining, just wondering :-)! I just hope that "1" will remain.
