Family Getaway at Disneyland

Once a year my family and I go for a vacation. Sometimes during Spring time and most of the time on summertime. Last year, we decided to see my family in the Philippines where we all had fun! It was a grand reunion for me and them since my husband got to meet my folks and siblings for the first time! We went to Hundred Island, and Dinggalang beach in Aurora province. Knowing my husband love swimming,  my brother took him to a resort in Nueva Ecija which is run by some native people. Anyway, we sure had a blast, swimming and hiking and eating lots of foods. It was the most expensive, but memorable vacation we have ever had as family.
This year, we planned on going to Disneyworld with my brother in-law and his family, but sad to say that it didn't work because we decided to go to Utah to attend our church events, and also visit the national parks there such as The Arches, Bryce, Capitol Reef, and Zion's. Oh man, that was am amazing experienced to see those beautiful parks.
Anyway, next year we already made a plan on going to see the Grand Canyon in Colorado and afterward go to Disneyland in California and then visit my cousins who happened to live in that state. Watch the Ironman 70.3 in Branson!

Are you an avid fan of Ironman? If so, then you wouldn’t want to miss the inaugural race which will takes place in Branson, Missouri on the 19th of September 2010. The Ironman 70.3 Branson will serve as one of the 34 worldwide qualifying events for the 2010 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater, Florida.This competition is one thing my husband and son would really enjoy watching. Since it would not takes place till next year, it would be nice to plan on going there with the whole family.

Accommodation would not be a problem because there is the Hilton Branson Convention Center where you and your family could stay. The hotel is within easy driving distance of Branson’s championship golf courses, lakes, museums and 49 live entertainment theaters. It is also right across the street from the Fountains of Branson Landing, which is the finish line for the competition, as well as where the awards ceremony will takes place. The competition starts with a 1.2 mile swim in Table Rock Lake, which is one of the beautiful lakes in the area. Then the competitors will bike 56 miles through the Ozark Mountains, and finish with a spectator friendly 13.1 mile run.

This sound very tiring to me that is why if we go there, I would probably go out window shopping as well as enjoy a river walk. At the end of the day, we would go dine out in one of the finest restaurants in town. A trip to an amusement park would be the highlight of our vacation since the whole family gets to go together. I have been tied up with some commitments at home and family before we left for our vacation in the South of Virginia. I will try to visit all your blogs as soon as I get back home. Finally...we are here!

Yehey! Finally, we are here in Virginia Beach. We got here around 3:30pm, all excited and ready to swim! Matt and Jacob went playing on the sand while I stayed in our hotel room resting while making opps :-)! Yups, here I am bogging again...will enjoy the beach tomorrow since it is still cold outside. I hope the weather will change tomorrow or elese I'll be stuck here blogging, which I don' really mind; I can still swin in the inside pool anyway. We areplanning to stay here till Saturday. Will take pictures of course...and do some window shopping. We might go drive at Chesapeake Bay, which is a 30 minutes drive on the bridge...unbelievable! I want to really experience it!
