Utah Jazz Comes To Town
Authored by Raymond Whitney
Heading out the door for the day I knew that it would be a jam packed day. I knew that it was going to be busy because of all the work that I had to do at the office, but then after I left there I knew I would need to hurry home. Thankfully when I reached the office that day I could see that the workload was going to be light. Hopefully my boss would let me sneak out a little early, but it was going to be up to him.
After the third meeting of the day and thinking that I was going to pull all of my hair out I knew that it was going to be a challenge to make it through the day in time to leave the office and get home. However, I knew that my wife would be waiting for me and if I was late in picking her up we would miss the Jazz game.
Speeding out of the office later on that afternoon I looked around the house. Seeing that my wife was already home and ready to go I changed quickly. That is when I noticed that we still had to set the Adt Security systems before leaving for the day. After doing that we left the home and headed down to the game knowing that our house was safe.

Different Safety Tips for the Holidays
Guest post written by my buddy Bernardo Graham
There are many safety precautions that everyone should take during the holiday season. I always follow a few simple steps to ensure that my Christmas is a truly jolly one. One tip that you could make use of is to set your home security alarm from ADT home systems before you leave to do any shopping. This tip might seem simple, but you'd never believe how beneficial it really is. Another tip that I personally always use is to not go out if it's snowing. You might also want to refrain from driving at night if it's recently rained. The rain will actually freeze over and turn to ice. It can be very dangerous to many people on the road.
Obviously, another tip to follow would be to watch the stove when you're cooking anything for the holidays. This might seem like a no-brainer, but it's amazing how many people will burn and overcook things. In fact, it's not uncommon to start a fire if you're planning to deep fry your turkey. I always sit in the kitchen when I'm preparing any holiday feast. This not only protects the home from a potential fire, but it also helps me to keep an eye on something so that it doesn't burn or overcook. By following a few simple steps, you'll be sure to have a safe holiday every single year.

A Truly Texan Gingerbread House
I was born and raised in Texas and after college I just couldn't imagine living anywhere else besides Texas, so I stayed here. This year when I started thinking about what kind of gingerbread house I wanted to make for the holidays, I thought that I should make a gingerbread house that's innately Texan. One thing came to mind and I thought that The Alamo would be perfect.
Even though I basically know what it looks like, I went online to find pictures of it and figure out how to make a gingerbread version of it. When I was looking up that stuff, I found this Austin clear 4g online offer that sounded really good and I signed up for it for our home internet access.
I think that this may have been one of my best gingerbread house ideas ever because once I got it all put together, it looked so great! I think that my husband, whoos a huge history buff was also very impressed with my execution. Which I did try to make it as historically accurate as possible.

John Wayne Still One Of The Best After All These Years
The Author of this post is Rory Reilly
Through the years one actor continues to be a star in my eyes and that is John Wayne. He was born Marion Robert Morrison in 1907 and he has a long list of accomplishments to his credit as an actor. He played the lead in 142 of his film performances with numerous awards given. One of my favorite films from John Wayne was True Grit which he won a Best Actor Oscar in 1969. He made so many good films picking just a few out would be tough from this great man. The black and white films he made are some of my favorites as well.
There are many things that made John Wayne the actor stand out for me, but most of all he always did the right things in his films. My dad introduced me to him in a movie called She wore a Yellow Ribbon and I was hooked forever. When I find out a John Wayne movie is on I watch it on satellite television from www.directstartv.com. It seems every weekend or during the week at least one John Wayne film is on. My kids are getting older and they have started to discover John Wayne. He was one guy that transcends time and continues to be very popular even today.
