There aren’t a lot of people like me out here in Texas, that is Jewish and short! People here are all about everything big and we’re right in the middle of the Bible Belt so it’s been a tough time finding a good Temple (but I did, finally!) The people here are so nice but it’s been a challenge moving to a new place where I didn’t know anyone. It’s been good for me, though. I’ve found myself chatting up people everywhere like at the grocery store and even the dentist which is actually great since it really makes me get out of my shell! There was a little old lady at the plant nursery who told me about www.Shopelectricityratestexas.com and the young mom at the ice cream store who told me about the great Mexican place near my house. It’s not all bad, talking to strangers, since they’ve taught me some cool stuff and it’s really helping me get outside my comfort zone! Who knew I’d be here?

FTF: Lunch at Rainforest Cafe

Finally, we had the chance of eating our fave foods at the Rainforest Cafe last weekend. Jacob ordered Fish and Chips, Matt had Baby back Ribs while I preferred to have a Rotisserie Chicken with veggies and rice pilaf. The foods were a little bit pricey, but worth the money for they were all so good!
