FTF: Inabraw or Dinengdeng

It is good to know that when I crave for something like Filipino foods, I can always rely on Asian market because they sell some asian veggies such as saluyot, labong, talong, tamarind, sitaw and more. Okay, this is a Filipino dish that originates in Ilocano province. Saluyot with labong with fried tilapia. The taste is a little bit sour blend with salt. We call it "Inabraw". My version of this dish is, I put tamarind or sometimes Santol (if available) that is why it has a sour taste.

How about you. What is your version of this recipe? Share it with us; join this meme now!

  1. I'm so envious of people who know how to cook. When you crave some dish, you can make it yourself especially when you're away from home :) Yummy, I like dishes that have sour taste like sinigang! Visiting from Food Trip Friday!
