I made a nice dinner yesterday and my son loved the 'ginisang toge.' He said; Mommy, this veggie is so yummy! Thank goodness he ate a lot. Tofu is one of his fave food, too. We have finished our dinner with Turon. I miss this dessert so much! I am glad I've found a 'saba' at Hongkong market this Monday. Lucky me for I seldom see this kind of banana here in the U.S. Most Filipino use plantain for their Turon.

turon. love it!
ReplyDeleteI love tofu and beansprout but I have to be careful when I eat them because my gout tends to flare up if I eat too much of either.
ReplyDeleteAng sarap ng dinner ni Jacob! It's good that he eats veggies and tofu, plus turon, super like! Here's my FTF entry: http://www.delightmyappetite.com/2011/10/food-trip-friday-papa-johns-pizza/
ReplyDeleteHi Ces! I am amazed at your son's liking for toge. My nephew abhors all kinds of veggies, except for carrots and potatoes. I haven't had turon for ages and you can only imagine how I feel looking at your photo. My salivary glands are in a frenzy! lol. Happy weekend to you and yours :D
ReplyDeleteAng sarap naman! Usually at home, kapag may left over toge, we wrap it in lumpia wrappers para maiba naman. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHopping from Food Trip Friday.
Aw this is my hubby's fave! Tama si jenn, we usually do that too para naman di masayang ang food. :)
